The End of the Road but not the Journey

Ambivalent? Yes and no.

We've come to that time of year when we have to say goodbye. For Year 6, that time usually comes with some ambivalence. You might be feeling happy about finally graduating from Primary School, moving on the next step in your education and the opportunity of meeting and making new friends. At the same time, you may feel worried about the unknown, sad that you might not see friends you’ve known for years or reluctant to leave the safe, familiar space that school has become for you.

Whatever you’re feeling, I hope you all stay positive, remember that there are always people who can help you. They might be friends or teachers at your new school but the staff at St Jude and St Paul’s will always be here for you. I don’t think it’s a secret that teachers love it when former pupils come back. Why do you think that is?

Anyway, good luck for everything you do in the future. I can genuinely say each of you will be missed.

With that said, enjoy the video of your Leavers’ Service.
