DoodleMaths

Hello everyone!

I hope that you are all doing well and looking after yourselves. It has been strange going from seeing all of you each week to only seeing a few of you! I’ve missed teaching you and can’t wait to see you all again.

I wanted to say well done to all of the children who have kept up with their DoodleMaths activities! I have been updating the ‘Extras’ section and will keep updating this each week. Some of you have noticed that there has been an Easter challenge where you can use your stars to buy some eggs. Don’t forget you can spend your stars on your own robot, coach or pet too!

From this week onwards, I will be announcing the children who have the highest streaks and the children from each class who have achieved the most stars. Keep an eye out for the high flyers! I’m also working out a way of making making sure that those children that need a certificate can get them soon.

For those of you missing out on science lessons, don’t forget there is learning you can always do at home.

The BBC has activities, videos and games to play.

There will be some activities for you to try at home on the school website and a poster competition for you to enter about this year’s British Science week theme, biodiversity. Please send us photos of your finished posters so we can share them with everyone!

I hope to see you all soon!

Take care,

Mr Hernandez
